What students say
01 · The on-ramp
Start with the basics
Never opened Unity, or writing code that keeps breaking? Start here before the project courses.
02 · Full projects
Build a complete game
Start-to-finish builds, one commit at a time. Most people start with Farm Game 2D — it's the deepest project in the catalog.
03 · Source projects
Drop-in project templates
Complete Unity projects to open, read and take apart — some with a video walkthrough of how the system works. Unlike a course, you're not building along step by step; you're lifting a finished system into your own game.

Who's teaching
Hi, I'm Peter
I've been building games and prototypes in Unity since 2017 and teaching it on the Sunny Valley Studio channel to around 44,000 subscribers. I'm part of the Unity Insiders program, so what's in the courses tracks current Unity instead of trailing three LTS versions behind.
What I care about most is code you can still add to six months later. Plenty of tutorials hand you a working feature and leave you with a project that breaks the moment you change anything. I'd rather show you how the code evolves as the game grows — slower, and the version that actually gets a game finished.
